Introducing The New York Rangers Centennial artwork. This originally hand drawn piece of artwork captures moments from the first 100 years of the Rangers existence with renderings of Eddie Giacomin, the GAG Line, Mike Richter, Mark Messier, Wayne Gretzky and the original Madison Square Garden marque. The top and bottom of the piece display all 11 of the retired Rangers numbers. The top half of the artwork displays an evolution of the Rangers shields since 1926, to anniversary logos, to specialty events such as the Winter Classic and Stadium Series to commemorative patches. The bottom of the artwork includes 5 original renderings of goalie masks from the iconic Ranger goalies who have protected the Rangers crease for the last 60 years - Giacomin, John Davidson, Richter, Henrik Lundqvist and Igor Shesterkin. The centerpiece is the Rangers centennial logo within the Madison Square Garden center ice circle.
The unframed 24 x 36 inch print comes hand-signed by the artist, Chandler Withington.
